Advanced Human Genetics Course

 

The Advanced Human Genetics course is the major didactic component of the Harvard Medical School Genetics Residency Program. The course meets once weekly for ninety minutes over two semesters and combines basic science and medical education in the areas of cytogenetics, molecular genetics, quantitative genetics, biochemical genetics and medical genetics. Residents and fellows are required to attend class and pass board-style exams (in addition to quizzes, homework, and problem-based review sessions) based on the course materials.
