Laboratory Fellowship Programs

Clinical Biochemical Genetics: We currently do not have dedicated funding for clinical biochemical genetics.

NEW! Laboratory Genetics and Genomics (LGG): (formerly Cytogenetics/Molecular Genetics)  The ABMGG has decided to merge the training of cytogenetics and molecular genetics into a single specialty. It is anticipated that by July 2017, all new trainees will enter an LGG fellowship program and not Cytogenetics or Molecular Genetics individually. LGG training will be 24 months in duration (with no allotted time for research) and both traditional and new cytogenetic and molecular techniques will be integrated throughout the training. Please visit the ABMGG site for more details and updates.

We are currently accepting applications for a July 1, 2017 start date. The deadline for applications is to be determined as we finalize future plans for the new LGG specialty. Please apply here: Application Form
