Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics
We offer a four year fellowship program in maternal fetal medicine and medical genetics. Expertise in genetics and MFM provides a unique opportunity for specialization in clinical care and research during fellowship as well as during subsequent career development. The combined Maternal Fetal Medicine/Medical Genetics fellowship is a collaboration with Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and the HMSGTP with rotations at BWH, Boston Children's Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital. This fellowship fulfills the requisite case load for completion of genetics boards, clinical experience required for MFM boards and the research requirements for both boards. In years 1 through 3, trainees alternate every 3-6 months between MFM and medical genetics clinical training. The third and fourth years are dedicated to research in the trainee's area of interest in MFM and medical genetics.
