Laboratory Details:
 CLIA- and CAP- certified Cytogenetic Laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center provides a full range of constitutional and cancer cytogenetics services, including routine chromosome diagnostics and molecular cytogenetics by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) testing. The Laboratory process ~1600 specimens annually for both chromosome analysis and FISH from specimens of peripheral blood, percutaneous umbilical blood (PUBS), leukemic blood, bone marrow, amniotic fluid, chorionic villous biopsies (CVS), products of conception (POC), skin, and tissue biopsies. The Laboratory is staffed 7 days a week and on all holidays.
